Week 1 Update

This week I've really gotten into the rhythm of learning a language and keeping consistent. I got a notebook to take notes, do my exercises, and write down vocab in. I've completed exercises for lesson one in the Kurmanji Kurdish for the Beginners book, I've completed two of my anki grammar lesson decks, and I've practiced some conversations on the tandem app. Right now I'm continuing to lesson 2 in my book and I'm coming up with a system to better handle new vocab presented in the exercise book. Next week of course I plan on completing everything to meet with my first monthly deliverables and I want to find ways to incorporate more Kurmanji into my everyday life. I feel that I am a bit behind on reaching my deliverables but I know that I'll be able to push through and get it done with the large amount of class time on Friday and the upcoming weekend. I feel that I'm about 8% of the way through my project. Certainly not 8% to fluency but about that much to being able to complete my final deliverable.

Here's a photo of a conversation I had with Mistefa this week.

Here's a picture of one of my exercises followed by my mentor Mazlum's corrections.
